MARRIAGE MENTORING
The marriage mentoring program at Bethany is here to help strengthen relationships for couples who need just a little help, as well as couples who are in great crisis and have no hope.
In the busyness of life, marriages often suffer from a lack of attention that can lead to apathy and discontent. Marriage mentoring can help couples who are seeking healthy, growing marriages to navigate issues in communication, parenting, finances, etc.
how it works
Couples seeking to be mentored are matched with a mentor couple. Mentors have been trained in the "Dare to be Different" marriage mentoring process and have a strong commitment to healthy marriage as well as the desire to help others strengthen their marriage.
Mentors will help couples identify key areas of concern using an online diagnostic survey. They will then help to carefully navigate through issues identified by the survey. Most couples meet with their mentors for up to 10 weeks. Weekly sessions last around an hour and a half and typically occur in the mentor's home.
See the video below from Emerson Eggerichs, the founder of Love and Respect, for more information about the "Dare to be Different" mentoring process and what makes it successful.
