Youth Ministry
4:12 Youth Ministry seeks to reach, teach and engage students in 7th through 12th grade with the truth of God’s love. Why 4:12? It’s taken from I Timothy 4:12, which says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” We want to equip our youth with the tools to live out those words.
4:12 places a high value on:
Respect – for each person
Unity – with each other and with Christ
Friendship – real, honest and true
Truth – God’s Word
Our Commitment:
- We stand firm on the knowledge that God is who He says He is.
- We trust in His Son, Jesus, who died so that anyone who believes will have eternal life.
- We choose to live counter-cultural lives of obedience and purity to His way.
- We commit to share what He has done for us with our words and our walk.
