Children's Ministry

Nursery:  Bethany will provide security and loving care for infants and toddlers ages six weeks to two-and-a-half years of age, while giving parents undisturbed time to worship God and study His Word during Worship Service.

Preschool and Pre-K:  During Worship Services, children ages two-and-a-half through Kindergarten participate in hands-on activities, games, and crafts, all centered around a Bible story.

J.A.M. (Jesus And Me):  Children in grades 1-4 learn Bible stories, make crafts, and sing songs in the J.A.M. Room during Worship Service.

All children’s workers go through a screening process and must meet specific criteria before being allowed to volunteer in Children’s Ministry.  In addition to completing Child Protection Training every two years, workers must complete authorized background checks performed by the Illinois Children and Family Services and the Iowa Department of Human Services.  Children may only be dropped off and picked up by their parent or the adult caring for them.
