Join us in showing some love and appreciation to frontline workers at area hospitals by participating with other local churches in the "Frontline Worker Thank You Card Campaign" sponsored by Moody Radio & Chick-fil-A Davenport.


UPDATE:  Our goal was for Bethany to contribute 100 thank you cards to this campaign.  As of February 25, we have received 164 cards!  Thank you to everyone who has participated in this project to show our appreciation to frontline workers!



Ready to participate?  Keep reading below for the details.

step 1:  pick up a thank you card

Blank thank you cards are available in the lobby at Bethany - pick up one (or more!) the next time you are in the building.  Alternatively, you are welcome to use any thank you cards you have at home or even make your own!  


This is a great project for the whole family - don't forget to involve your kids!

step 2:  Write your note

Let our frontline workers know how much we appreciate their service in keeping our community healthy and safe.


Here's an example:


Thank you so much for your work keeping our community healthy and safe! Your sacrifice and service truly benefits so many of us. You are appreciated! Thank you for all you do. 


If you'd like to include a Bible verse in with your thank you note, here are some you could use:


I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. – Ephesians 1:16


I thank my God in all my remembrance of you. – Philippians 1:3


May the Lord reward you for your kindness. – Ruth 1:8


May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done. – Ruth 2:12


May the LORD now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this. – 2 Samuel 2:6


I thank God for you—the God I serve with a clear conscience, just as my ancestors did. Night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. – 2 Timothy 1:3

step 3:  return your card(s) to bethany

Thank you cards may be dropped off in the white collection box in the lobby at Bethany.  They may also be mailed to the Bethany office at:

Please have your thank you cards to Bethany by February 21 so that we are able to deliver them to Moody Radio at the end of the month.  They will be distributed to frontline workers at Genesis and UnityPoint hospitals the first week in March.
