New to Bethany

When do you meet?

Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. At 9 a.m. we have “Growth Groups” for High School through adults and “Sunday School” for Nursery through Jr. High.

How do I get to Bethany?

What can I expect when I visit?

Friendly, family-focused atmosphere. You will fit in no matter how you dress. Our focus is on God, not what others look like or wear. Our musical worship could be described as sincere, mixing traditional hymns with more contemporary music, all focusing on leading people to the only object of our worship:  God.

The practical Bible teaching challenges and encourages people to find faith and hope in Jesus Christ and to live out that faith wherever God has placed them in life.

Where do I take my kids?

Just stop by our Welcome Center in the lobby and someone can direct you to exactly where your kids will have opportunity to learn about God at their own level. The nursery is staffed with caregivers that love on the kids during both the Growth Group hour and during the Worship Service. Children from first through fourth grade meet for their own Children’s Worship Service, called J.A.M (“Jesus and Me”). This is an exciting time of learning, singing, crafts, and games.

What do you have for students?

Our Youth Ministry is called “4:12”, based on 1 Timothy 4:12 in the New Testament and welcomes all
High School and Middle School students.

  • 4:12 meets Sunday Evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 and includes youth-led worship, practical teaching, games, snacks and small group fellowship.
  • We also have fun nights (pool parties, bowling, etc.) as well as youth “GO Projects” (Generosity Outreach).
  • Each month, we also attend “Seak n’ Soak”, joining with Christians all across the Quad Cities for a multi-church worship experience at the Quad Cities Prayer Center.
  • In July of 2012, we are taking a mission trip to Haiti.

Our adult leaders are Keith and Tabby Klundt and Derek and Becky Clark. Please use the email link if you would like to contact them about 4:12.

Does God love me?
