Coming this Sunday?

We're so excited to meet you this Sunday!  We know visiting somewhere for the first time can be nerve-wracking, so we've written up answers to some of the most frequently asked questions when it comes to visiting a church for the first time.  We are here to make your experience a pleasant one, so please let us know if we can do anything to help.  Thanks, and see you Sunday!

WHEN DO YOU MEET?

We offer a Contemporary service at 10:30am.  We also offer an Equipping Hour at 9:15am before every service.

HOW DO I GET TO BETHANY?

We are located at 700 35th Avenue Place in Moline, IL.  We are right across the street and up the hill from the Hy-Vee and Target on John Deere Road.  Click HERE to see a map and get directions.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I VISIT?

You can expect a friendly, family-focused atmosphere.  You will fit in no matter how you dress.   Our focus is on God, not what others look like or wear.   Our service features a time of musical worship and practical Bible teaching in a contemporary package.  Our musical worship is described as being God-centered, fresh, and sincere utilizing modern music with re-imagined traditional hymns, all focusing on leading people to the only object of our worship:  God.  The practical Bible teaching challenges and encourages people to find faith and hope in Jesus Christ and to live out that faith wherever God has placed them in life.  Read more about us HERE.

WHERE DO I TAKE MY KIDS?

Just stop by our Welcome Center in the lobby where someone can direct you to exactly where your kids will have opportunity to learn about God at their own level.  The nursery (birth to 2.5 years old) is staffed with caregivers that provide a safe and encouraging environment for babies and toddlers during both worship services.  Our preschool program (ages 2.5 years old thru pre-K) meets upstairs in the Preschool room and features crafts, teaching, games, and more.   Children in kindergarten through fifth grade meet for their own children’s worship Service, called J.A.M. (“Jesus And Me”). This is an exciting time of learning, singing, crafts, and games.  For more info, check out the Children's Ministry page HERE.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR STUDENTS?

Join us on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm in the gym where a group of students (6th-12th Grade) and volunteer leaders gather together for games, relevant Bible teaching, and small groups intentionally designed with the purpose and inspiration of Bethany's mission and vision statements in mind.  There are lots more great events and opportunities for students.  For more information, check out the Student Ministry page HERE, or follow 4:12 Student Ministry on Facebook and Instagram.
